Shyam Metalics reports varied sales performance across product lines in Q2 FY2027

Shyam Metalics and Energy Limited announced sales figures for the month ended September 30, 2026, and the second quarter of fiscal year 2027, disclosing varied performance across its product lines. Stainless steel sales volumes increased by 35.06% year-on-year, with realizations up 22.99%, while Aluminium foil sales decreased by 19.10% year-on-year, though realizations rose by 26.14%. Speciality alloy volumes increased 16.17% year-on-year with a 12.26% rise in realizations, while carbon steel (long) sales decreased 8.37% year-on-year but saw a 12.95% increase in average realization. Metallics sales increased 54.89% year-on-year, accompanied by a 2.82% rise in realizations. The company, which produces carbon steel, stainless steel, speciality alloys, and aluminium foil, maintains a CRISIL AA+ (Stable) rating for long-term bank facilities and A1+ for short-term facilities.
